DT325 Tooling: Discrete Soil Sampling and Monitoring Well Installation

A: DT325 System is driven to predetermined depth with DT325 Solid Drive Tip and Expendable Cutting Shoe.

B: DT325 Solid Drive Tip is removed with the inner probe rod string.

C: DT325 Sample Sheath and Liner are lowered into place.

D: Tool string is now driven to collect soil core.

E: 3.25 in. probe rods are retracted slightly. The final soil sample is used to dislodge the Expendable Cutting Shoe and is then retrieved.

F: Once the final soil sample is removed, the prepacked screen monitoring well and PVC risers are installed. The 3.25 in. probe rods are fully retracted and the well is constructed and developed.
