Three Generations of Kejr's

Making an Impact: Panama

Three generations of Kejrs reached out to missionary friends last year to complete a roofing project in Panama. Larry Kejr (center), Finance Officer for Geoprobe®, his son, Nathan (left), and Larry’s dad, Harry Kejr, helped ready some buildings for the aproaching wet season. Harry Kejr has been a part of numerous construction projects outside the U.S., and is a regular presence on the Mexico visits. (He immediately flew to Liberia as soon as the Panama project was completed.) “After spending two weeks with family friends of over 50 years and being a part of their lives,” Larry said, “we were able to say ‘mission accomplished.’ Our objective was to strengthen relationships and build practical tools for the family to use, and we feel good about our time there.” The Kejr’s cut and welded together steel beams for a new 20- by 60-ft. pitched roof, then secured sheet metal to the new truss system on a house formerly owned by the U.S. military.
